Giclée Printing
Our fine art and photographic printing sister company, Lepix, launched over 10 years ago. At the time of its inception, we may not have known the full benefits of a fine art printing division. Today Lepix has become a successful standalone company, although it’s part of The Framing Depot team. This provides the convenience of fine art printing and custom framing all under one roof. Our clients love the fact that they can drop off a file and select a frame in one visit. The next time they come in is to pick up their completed product. If you know what you need, you can even email or upload the file to us, and then it’s just one visit for pickup!
Our printers include an Epson 11880 and a Canon IPF8400. We pride ourselves on only using original factory recommended pigment based archival inks, and only print on archival brand name papers. Our Canon has a maximum roll size of 44”, while our Epson can print up to 64” on the short side. That’s as large as it gets for archival giclée printing. All of our prints are spooled onto paper rolls, so we can print your files at custom sizes.
In addition to printing, Lepix also provides scanning services, digital photograph restorations, and fine art digital reproductions. So, if you have an original photo or art piece that you would like to reproduce or archive digitally, we can scan it for you (creating a digital file) and print it for you on high quality archival paper.
